Neo-soul, R&B, jazz, and electronic influences from the young, vibrant, cool, calm and collected, Amsterdam-based singer-songwriter Latanya Alberto. She made her independently funded debut in 2018 with the EP “Ruminate,” introducing her unique musical vision and poetic, socially conscious lyrics to the Netherlands for the first time. Her compelling visual aesthetic, which is evident in both her artwork and films, plays a significant role in the narrative she conveys through her work. Alberto’s second EP, “Cede,” was released in 2020. And this year at Super Sonic Jazz Festival 2022 she will be gifting us with her presence on November 18 at 19:45 in Paradiso.
