London-based singer-songwriter Ama Lou is known for her unique spin on R&B, mixing garage, drill and neo-soul elements into her own distinctive sound. Lou made her breakthrough in 2018 when she released ‘DDD’, an understated and fluid EP that confirmed her place in a wave of emerging UK R&B artists. This led to the follow-up in 2019, ‘Ama Who?’ with the single ‘Northside’. Tesnslotte released ‘At Least We Have This’ in 2021, which showcased both her mature and stylistically varied aesthetic. In September, she finally released her long-awaited debut album ‘I Came Home Late’ with the single ‘Silence’.
