Contour

Khari Lucas is a multi-talented artist, film composer and radio programmer. Contour, the musical alias he began in 2014, is the vessel for his musical research and songwriting. After his first two albums, the 29-year-old artist from South Carolina released his third album, “Onwards!” last year. Pitchfork gave this album a solid eight and wrote, “Blending weighty subject matter and loose, meandering grooves, the Charleston-based artist’s latest album moves like a raindrop down a windowpane-jagged, natural, and unpredictable.” His music is dynamic, with each track taking you on a laidback journey between different genres and jazz infusions.
