Mabe Fratti

Experimental cellist and composer Mabe Fratti, originally from Guatemala and now based in Mexico City, has become a fixture in Mexico’s thriving improvised music scene. In hypnotic and captivating pieces, she combines contemporary elements such as shoegaze and dream pop with ancestral influences ranging from Gregorian chants to Sephardic music.
