Mamas Gun

The London-based band Mamas Gun is led by singer, composer, and producer Andy Platts, also known for his other project Young Gun Silver Fox. Together with keyboardist Dave ‘eighties’ Oliver, guitarist Terry ‘Spiller’ Lewis, bassist Cameron ‘the Mounty’ Dawson, and drummer Chris Boot, the band leader creates top-notch blue-eyed soul. Their most recent album ‘Golden Days’ is a must-have for anyone who holds artists like The Isley Brothers, Curtis Mayfield, Jamie Lidell, or Stevie Wonder in high regard. Last year, the band released their fifth album titled ‘Cure The Jones,’ a joyful and refined showcase of songcraft that explores themes of love, loss, and navigating through the most pressing social and political issues of the day.
