Dutch-Surinamese producer, guitarist, composer, and musicologist QUANZA began teaching himself guitar at the age of thirteen, inspired by the sound of Jimi Hendrix. A few years later Flying Lotus altered his brain chemistry, which started his journey as an electronic music producer. His experimental sound, blending elements of hip-hop, electronic jazz, and other genres, quickly drew attention. CARISTA invited him to contribute to the debut release of her United Identities record label, resulting in ‘A Love Supreme’, featured on the compilation album ‘Modern Intimacy’.
