The 2026 edition will take place from Friday, November 20th to Sunday, November 22nd.
We offer both single-day tickets and full festival passes. Currently, Early Bird weekend tickets are available here at a discounted price of €50. Regular day ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
The festival's main hub is Paradiso, located at Weteringschans 6-8, Amsterdam (right next to Leidseplein).
Super-Sonic Jam is an open session where musicians, producers, and music lovers come together. Everyone is welcome to participate! Each edition features a house band that kicks things off. The host will announce when the stage is open for everyone to join the improvisation.
No advance sign-up is required. Simply show up and talk to the host upon arrival or make eye contact with the host/band during the session. If it’s very busy, the host may use a sign-up list, but it is usually spontaneous.
Expect the signature Super-Sonic blend: jazz-influenced sounds mixed with soul, hip-hop, broken beat, and electronic influences. It’s all about spontaneity and creativity.
A core backline (drums, keys, bass, and guitar amps) is provided. However, we encourage instrumentalists (horns, guitars, basses) to bring their own instruments whenever possible.
Absolutely! The jams are just as exciting for listeners as they are for performers. It’s a great way to discover new talent and connect with the community.
Super-Sonic Jam usually takes place at Skatecafe or Paradiso, but occasionally pops up at other venues and creative spaces that fit the Super-Sonic Jazz community. Check our agenda for the latest dates and locations.

Super-Sonic Support is our membership model dedicated entirely to talent development. Instead of relying on algorithms or large subsidies, we rely on our community to build a sustainable future for jazz. Your contribution directly funds studio time, coaching, physical releases, and live productions for upcoming artists.

Super-Sonic Jazz is a "nomadic" organization, meaning we host events at various creative spaces in Amsterdam. Always check your ticket or our agenda to confirm the location of your event. The most common locations are:
Yes, all our partner venues have lockers or a cloakroom available. Please note that use is at your own risk; the management is not liable for loss or damage.
Yes. Most venues in Amsterdam, including Paradiso and Skatecafe, are card -only. You can pay for drinks and merch via debit or credit card.
Phone photography is fine—please be respectful and don't use flash. Professional cameras or recording equipment (with interchangeable lenses) are not allowed without prior approval. If you wish to shoot professionally, please contact us at publiciteit@paradiso.nl.

Most venues provide a stamp or wristband that allows re-entry. Policies may differ per location.
Tickets are available through our official website and Paradiso’s ticket platform . Avoid third-party resellers to ensure your ticket is valid.
If an event is not sold out, a limited number of tickets may be available at the door. However, we strongly recommend purchasing in advance to secure your spot.
