Super-Sonic Series is a special six-month project in which thirteen diverse artists joined forces. The adventure began in June with a creative residency on the island of Vlieland, organised by Into the Great Wide Open, Dune Sessions, PAARD and Super-Sonic Jazz. While each maker worked on their own composition, a continuous creative cross-pollination naturally emerged throughout the entire project. The result is an impressive thirteen-track compilation album, releasing both on vinyl and digitally. Following an initial live presentation at Into The Great Wide Open, the project will continue at various festivals in the new year. Furthermore, the entire creative process was captured in a short film, set to premiere in early 2027. On November 19, the day before the festival begins, the vinyl will be officially released. To celebrate the release, we are hosting an intimate listening session at murmur on Thursday, November 19, in the presence of all participating musicians, featuring an in-depth Q&A.
