Saxophonist and producer Venna seamlessly blends rap with sax-led melodies and groovy basslines, pioneering his own genre by making UK hip-hop smoother than ever. The South Londoner became a Grammy Award-winning artist at age 21 for his work on Burna Boy’s album “Twice As Tall.” Since then, he’s created an impressive list of features and collaborations.
Venna is shifting his career to be recognized as his own artist. Last year, he released his second EP, “EQUINOX,” featuring his frequent collaborators Knucks and Yussef Dayes, but also rapper Mick Jenkins, American singer Masego, and many more. This release marks a new chapter for Venna, showcasing a diversity of styles and musical abilities while never losing sight of his signature sound.
