Super-Sonic Jazz Festival
The annual Super-Sonic Jazz festival revolves around innovative jazz on the cutting edge of R&B, hip-hop, soul, funk and electronic music. The festival first took place in 2017, and well-known names such as Thundercat, Sons of Kemet, Steve Lacy, Domi and JD Beck, Yussef Dayes, Robert Glasper, Moses Sumney and Hiatus Kaiyote have graced the bill ever since.

Despite corona, the festival had a successful edition in 2020 and 2021. In November 2022, more than 5,000 visitors gathered over five days in Paradiso and unique concert venues such as De Duif and the Rush Hour record store.

Super-Sonic Jazz focuses on young adults and stimulating up-and-coming local talent. On the Sunday of the festival, the programme only exists of local artists.

The compilation album ‘SUPER-SONIC FAMILY vol. 2’ is set for release on Super-Sonic Jazz Records this November. The record is a cross-section of the contemporary jazz scene in the Netherlands.  Some artists included on the album will play the festival on Sunday.

Day tickets are available from €6.50, and passe-partout tickets are for sale from €79 (both incl. service costs, excl. Paradiso membership) via the ticket shop of Paradiso and Super-Sonic Jazz.

Ticket sales will start on Friday July 7 at 10:00 AM via the button below.
