Emma-Jean Thackray is a versatile artist from South London: composer, producer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ. With her unique blend of jazz, soul, pop, grunge, and danceable grooves, she gained international recognition through EPs like Um Yang and Rain Dance, and the critically acclaimed album Yellow. Her latest album, Weirdo, is an intensely personal project about grief, healing, and neurodiversity — entirely written, performed, and produced by Thackray herself. She has performed in over twenty countries, collaborated with the London Symphony Orchestra, and has grown into one of the most original voices of her generation.
