Inspired by the rich sounds of Ghanaian highlife, Higherlife Jam brings an exciting fusion of highlife, gospel, jazz, and Afrobeat. The group was founded in 2022 by drummer Junior Appiah, who grew up surrounded by rhythm and first connected with drumming in the womb, feeling the vibrations of his mother playing. Rooted in improvisation, unity, and musical freedom, the collective creates an energetic and soulful atmosphere that invites movement and joy.
