Since 2017, Super-Sonic Jazz Festival has been a prominent fixture in Amsterdam’s cultural landscape, offering a diverse lineup of groundbreaking Dutch and international acts. Held across various venues in Amsterdam, including historic churches, our festival provides a unique platform for intimate performances and uninhibited improvisation, bridging the gap between global and local talent.

Past editions of the festival have featured electrifying performances by renowned artists such as Robert Glasper, Thundercat, Bilal, Alfa Mist, Yussef Dayes, Ego Ella May, Emma-Jean Thackray, Yazmin Lacey and Kokoroko, captivating audiences with their boundary-pushing music.

But Super-Sonic Jazz Festival is more than just a showcase of musical talent: it’s a celebration of community, collaboration, and cultural exchange. Through workshops, masterclasses, and collaborative performances, the festival encourages connections between artists and audiences, creating a space where creativity can flourish and new ideas can take root.
